GIFI’s policy-support work provides the evidence, analysis and practical context needed to advance global commitments in the digital domain. GIFI’s work contributes to wider public debate on the future of internet governance. It connects implementation of the DFI with key international processes, including the Global Digital Compact and WSIS+20.

Through research, data collection and comparative policy analysis, we examine how different principles can be implemented in different national and regional settings. Our work identifies emerging challenges, maps relevant developments, highlights effective approaches and draws out lessons that can support governments and other stakeholders in turning commitments into action.
