The GGP is actively participating in the annual WTO Public Forum, and has organized a session on trade and regulation, building on a task force that was led by Profs. Hoekman and Mavroidis in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development. Other events in which Prof Hoekman has participated on the sidelines of the Forum were a conference on the measurement of non-tariff measures (organized by OECD/UNCTAD) and the launch of a major new WTO publication assessing the experience of countries that have acceded to the WTO since 1995.
