World Trade Forum 2020 | The Future of Trade Policy and External Cooperation: is Soft Power Passé?

This year’s World Trade Forum brings together researchers and practitioners to reflect on recent developments in trade policy and on opportunities to bolster trade cooperation looking forward.

This webinar, organised in partnership with Bertelsmann Stiftung on 8 July, presented findings and recommendations for WTO reform, based on a Bertelsmann Stiftung-support research project. Speakers focused on working practices; dispute settlement; managing subsidy-related spillovers and governance of plurilateral initiatives.

This webinar was held in the framework of the Trade Multistakeholder Convention 2020 organised by the World Economic Forum in Geneva.
