    Dr. Maria Giulia Amadio Vicerè is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (EUI).

    She is also an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at LUISS University and a Research Associate at Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI).

    Before that, she has been a Post-Doctoral Fellow and a researcher within a Horizon 2020 Project on ‘EU Differentiation, Dominance and Democracy’ at LUISS University. Moreover, she has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Leiden (NL); an elected member of the Academic Association for Contemporary European Studies’ Graduate Forum Committee (UACES); a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission (Service for Foreign Policy Instruments; Brussels, BE); and a Research Intern at the European Policy Centre (Brussels, BE).

    Dr. Amadio Viceré has held visiting positions at: the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies/European University Institute (Florence, IT); the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA, USA); the Policy Institute at King’s College (London, UK);

    She has given seminars and lectures in various universities and institutions, including: Il Sole 24 Ore Business School; St. John’s University; the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI); the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Italian Ministry of Defence (IASD); the Institute for the International Education of Students; the University of Washington; Università degli Studi ‘Roma Tre’; Università ‘Sapienza’: and Villa Vigoni. 

    Over time, she has also been the recipient of merit-based scholarships and grants from the European Commission; Zegna Group; the Lazio Region; and the The Australian Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethic.
