Victoria Finn

Biography

Victoria is currently a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute, Italy, and an Affiliated Researcher at ICSO, Instituto de Investigación en Ciencias Sociales (Institute of Research in Social Sciences), Chile.

She holds a PhD in Political Science at Universidad Diego Portales, Chile, and a PhD in Humanities at Leiden University, the Netherlands. Her dissertation on Migrant Rights, Voting, and Resocialization is open access. She also holds an MA in International Affairs from the George Washington University, US. She has taught undergraduate international relations and economics, assisted in qualitative methods, and delivered guest lectures on migration.

Previously, Victoria was a 2021 Visiting Doctoral Fellow at Tallinn University, Estonia, collaborating on the EU Horizon 2020 project, ‘Migration and Integration Research and Networking’. She serves as an elected Co-Convener for the ECPR Standing Group on Migration and Ethnicity and elected Executive Council Officer for the APSA Migration & Citizenship Section.
