Christian Bluth
Biography
Christian Bluth is a Programme Associate of the EUI’s Global Governance Programme and an economist with Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy. Bluth’s research focusses on EU trade policy and global economic governance. Among other publications, he is the author of the book “Europe’s Trade Strategy for the Age of Geoeconomic Globalisation”, published with CEPR in February 2021.
Bluth has previously worked on trade policy issues and international economics as part of the Global Economic Dynamics Project of Bertelsmann Stiftung. He holds a PhD in Political Economy from the University of Cambridge and a masters degree in economics from SciencesPo Paris, where he has occasionally worked as a guest lecturer.
