World Trade Forum 2018

On 28-29 September more than 100 trade practitioners, and scholars, government officials, and representatives of international and nongovernmental organizations participated in the 2018 World Trade Forum at the European University Institute in Florence Italy....

On 31 May and 1 June 2019 the Global Economics team at the Global Governance Programme of  the Schuman Centre organised a workshop and round-table on ‘Asia-EU Trade’. The participants discussed ongoing research papers prepared as part of the RESPECT project and recent developments and policy research focusing on analyses, scenarios and prospects for the US trade war; the state of play and developments in EU and Asian trade agreements (KORUS, EU-Japan, CPTPP, RCEP); EU-China economic relations and the Belt & Road initiative, and WTO reform initiatives and dispute resolution.
