Marco Sanfilippo holds a Phd in Development Economics at the University of Florence, and is currently an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Bari, an Associate Research Fellow in Globalisation and Development at the Institute of Development Policy at the University of Antwerp, and an Associate Fellow at the Italian Institute of International Affairs (IAI). Before, he has been working at the European University Institute, Bank of Finland, Fondazione RES, University of Eastern Piedmont, UNIDO, Fondazione ENI Enrico Mattei. He regularly consults with national and international organisations, including so far UNICEF, UNIDO, UNU-Wider, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the IMF. His main research interests are in the fields of development economics, international business/economics, see my research page for updates.
