This workshop is an authors’ meeting for a special issue of East European Politics and Societies. In the course of Eastern enlargement, the countries of the region have undergone a massive Europeanisation – a process of a change of the political and economic systems. The special issue will take stock of the political and economic development of the new member states after accession and their postenlargement Europeanisation.
