The Second Empirical Investigations in Services Trade (EIST) conference is an activity of the CEPR Trade Policy Research Network. It brings together research economists working on the analysis of the determinants of trade and investment in services and the impacts of services trade policies on economic performance. Papers span empirical analyses that have a macroeconomic focus as well as analysis focusing on the effects of sectoral policy and regulation, trade and investment agreements and the role of services in value chains, using firm- or industry level data. The conference will include a keynote talk by J. Bradford Jensen (Georgetown University).
If you would like to attend but are not submitting a paper, and, if so, would be willing to serve as a discussant, please register here.
