The Executive Seminar focused on the international challenges Europe faces in a global world. Speakers addressed the context of EU current international relations, in key regional emerging powers across the oceans: the Atlantic and Brazil; the Indian Ocean and India; the Pacific and China. The seminar also covered the analysis of European foreign policy instruments – i.e. European external action service; European defense and crisis management; EU community policies external dimension. Sessions closed with a reflection and debate on the EU´s future as a global player.
