The Executive Training Seminar focused on European Union and Global Governance. In the first part, speakers addressed the context of EU external relations: the debate on the international identity and the structure and functioning of the institutions of external representation of the EU. The second part covered the relationship of the EU with diverse international institutions and international regimes of global governance at economic, financial, political and security levels: UN; WTO; IMF; non-proliferation etc. Sessions closed with a reflection and debate on the EU´s future as a global player.
