Anti-Dumping – Yesterday’s Woes and Today’s Concerns

Academy of Global Governance

11 – 12 May 2015

European University Institute, Florence

Scientific Coordinators

Petros Mavroidis | European University Institute

Bernard M. Hoekman | European University Institute

Description

The seminar is provoked a discussion among participants about the ‘hottest’ topics nowadays in anti-dumping. A WTO view was taken on this score, since this is the common benchmark. Zeroing, pass through, causality and other themes were analysed by the world’s top experts, and their presentation provided the input for lengthy discussions with the audience.

A special feature of the seminar was the ‘Enforcers Forum’, to which members of national anti-dumping authorities were invited, debating on their current issues and concerns.

Every session was followed by a 45 minutes discussion with the audience.
